Surrounded by mountains, craters and colorful lava fields, it sits about 90 minutes from Reykjavík and 20 minutes from Borgarnes. The Norðurá salmon river and the Glanni and Laxfoss waterfalls are within easy walking distance, with striking views of Baula Mountain.
Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas in natural light and connect seamlessly to a private, heated wooden deck with a geothermal hot tub and changing rooms. The central kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances, ideal for entertaining family gatherings, weddings or corporate functions.
More than 850 sq m (9,150 sq ft) across two levels: the upper floor hosts main living areas, four bedrooms and a separate television room; the lower level adds two further suites, an entertainment room with conference facilities, a home cinema, table tennis and a private gym. The villa is self-sustainable with on-site fresh water and pure geothermal water used for baths, showers, hot tub and under-floor heating throughout. A patio for entertaining includes a Jacuzzi and BBQ facilities, and a helicopter landing area sits in front of the villa.
Accommodation comprises six double/king suites, each with an en-suite bathroom, sleeping up to 12 guests. In-house services include a personal host, daily housekeeping, host-prepared breakfast and a chef-prepared three-course dinner.
