In 2022 the house that accommodates the wine school was built. The house displays Icelandic wood both internally and externally, that is truly a rarity in Iceland.

We narrow down the special features of a particular wine growing region and discuss the “Terroir” grape varieties, wine styles produced, appellations and taste some high quality wine from that particular region.

The lectures cover the major elements of the wine, from the vineyard to the bottle. We highlight the many different growing conditions, grapes, main wine growing region of the world, major compounds of the wine like body, acidity, tannin and how they interact with one another. We talk about the flavours and aromas of wine, different winemaking technique and styles. We taste high quality wines that correspond to the content of the seminar.
